About The Project
This toolkit is intended to provide the user with the knowledge and skills needed to lead and deliver civic education in your community. The toolkit touches on important topics related to democratic participation: Rights and Responsibilities, Leadership, Teamwork, Government, Local Government, Elections, and Advocacy. Each topic has different activities that Youth Allies can choose from based on the time you have available, materials, number of participants, and learning styles.

Democracy Land Board Game
The goal of this board game is to follow the path until you reach Representative Democracy! Along the way, you will be asked questions about the different branches of government.
Slides and Ladders Board Game
Who doesn’t love a good board game?! Slides and Ladders is an interactive way to engage a larger group of participants in a game that can test people’s knowledge. The board includes Slides (where participants have to slide down) and Ladders (where participants can move up on the board) to provide an additional challenge.
