The Tamosi Kabo-Tano Monument, also known as The Harpy Eagle Monument, is a symbol of stability, growth, harmony, strength, and prosperity. It features a great tree representing growth, wisdom, and harmony, an eagle representing strength, vision, and upward mobility, and two hands representing creation and unity. The monument also includes gold coins with the Guyana map encircled by the phrase "One people, One nation, One destiny," representing wealth and natural resources. They serve as a reminder that Guyana is a land of vast potential and limitless possibilities. The phrase “One people, One nation, One destiny” reflects the collective spirit of the people of Guyana, who are united in their quest for prosperity and progress.

The Harpy Eagle, which stands tall and proud atop the monument, represents Tamosi, the ancient one of the sky, and the creator of the Carib tribe. The eagle's majestic presence symbolizes strength, vision, and upward mobility. It reminds us that we must always strive to reach new heights and achieve our fullest potential. The eagle also represents the spirit of the Carib people, who have overcome countless challenges and obstacles to become the proud and resilient people they are today.

The left hand represents Amalivaca, a benevolent demigod who shapes the world and teaches the Caribs how to live, while the right hand represents Piai the father of medicine in Carib traditions.

The Great Tree in the monument is believed to be the Tree of Life important in many Amerindian cultures and was created by Tamosi to provide the Carib people with food after they became lost and hungry on Earth.

Overall, The Tamosi Kabo-Tano Monument is a testament to the enduring spirit and rich cultural heritage of the people of Guyana. It reminds us of the importance of unity, resilience, and the pursuit of excellence in all that we do.
